Challenge 2010 - Dates for your Diary

The High Energy Schools' Challenge is divided up in to two activities.

The first of which is the Energy Treasure Hunt (Web Quest) where all registered schools compete to find the 100 pieces of treasure (facts and figures) hidden in the websites of the EEEGR membership (potential employers of the future). Schools are encouraged to engage all year groups in this activity.

The top eight scoring teams will then go through to the filmed finals at EPIC Studios in Norwich. If your school is in the top eight, you then need to select your finalist team. Teams will consist of three Year 9 students.

The filmed finals are a striaght, head to head knock-out competition over four heats, two semi-finals and the grand final. Each quiz comprises seven rounds three of which are on energy. The energy questions will be based on information taken from the School Information Pack (available to download in the resources section).

The Energy Treasure Hunt (Web Quest) will be launched on the 4th May 2010 and all completed entries must be recieved by the 28th May 2010.

The High Energy Schools' Challenge Filmed Finals at EPIC Studios in Norwich will take place on the 29th and 30th September 2010.
